Jacob Jones, DC

As far back as I can remember, I have always asked HOW and WHY. As a child, I satisfied my curiosity by taking apart anything I could get my hands on. I loved to find out how something was made and understand how it worked. When I began learning about the human body, I continued to ask the questions, what is it made of (structure)? How does it work (function)? I realized that another question needed to be answered, and I have spent over a decade answering my third question, which is, “How does a human get and stay healthy?”

My path has taken me from the University of Wyoming, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology, to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where I studied Chiropractic and found how I could help people find true health. I realized that a healthy lifestyle begins with a healthy diet, which is why I received over 200 hours of post-graduate education in nutrition and became a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP). I also believe in the power of living an active lifestyle, so I became certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). When I am not helping people reach higher levels of health, I enjoy running, hiking, biking, weightlifting, reading and learning more about health and wellness.

I currently use my background to help families in the Temple area get and stay healthy by listening to their needs, improving their structure and function with gentle chiropractic care, and teaching them how to reach their health-related goals.
